Printed by Greeley & McElrath (the New York Tribune). Tappan, a United States Representative from New Hampshire, declares, "There is... but one hope left for Freedom in Kansas, and that the people of this country are about to avail themselves of. It is, to wrest from the hands of the slave Democracy the power they have abused, and vest it in those who will bring back the Administration of the Government to the early policy of its founders!"
