Also signed by the auditor, "Jno. M. Smisher." Partial printed document certifies that Blount was owed $153.75 for "attendance as Witness, San Augustine County." A signed, handwritten statement by Blount, dated 18 January 1851 and stamped by a notary public of San Augustine County, transfers the debt to W.B.M. Shun. A note signed by Shun indicates he received payment on 8 May 1852. Document designated "No. 89" and stamped "paid."
