A published eulogy of Alexander Hamilton given by Harrison Gray Otis on July 26, 1804, 14 days after Hamilton's death. This work follows the accomplishments of Hamilton from a young man to his death. Focusing on his intelligence and role in the creation of the government. There is a slight mention of Hamilton's publication of the Reynolds pamphlet "He shrunk from the imputation of misconduct in public life; and if his judgment ever misled him, it was only when warped by an excessive eagerness to vindicate himself at the expense of his discretion."
