Expresses Confidence that they will bring the states of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia under control, claiming that: "What 20,000 men well mounted with Spencer Carbines cant do, isn't worth doing." Also indicates he could get Rodenbough a place in the force. Discusses the recent campaign as well as personal and family matters.
