Morse, a United States Representative from Massachusetts, replies to a previous note from Baker. Notes that when the Military Committee 122 and Private Bill 78 come up for consideration in the House of Representatives, "it shall receive from me such attention as it deserves." Morse possibly refers to a bill that would grant Henry Jackson Hunt the rank of Major General on the retired list. Written on House of Representatives stationery.
