Title: [Warrant for the impressment of George Knap]
Pursuant to a warrant from Colonel George Leonard, on behalf of Governor "Shierly," Knap is to appear at Captain Leonard's dwelling in Raynham on the morning of 20 June, completely outfitted for military service and prepared "to proceed on his Majesty's service for the defense and protection of his Majesty's subjects in the frontiers of this province." Written as Captain of the Military Company in Raynham. On verso is the signed statement of Elijah Leonard that he did meet with Knap on the day indicated and gave him the warning.
