Printed call to arms from Colonel Lawther, the famous Missouri partisan fighter. Says he has been appointed and authorized by President Davis to organize a regiment of "Partizan Rangers, to serve in the Western Department." Says he has been authorized to invade Illinois, Iowa, or Kansas if it will advance the Confederate cause. Says upon the appointment he resigned his commission in the 1st Brigade of Confederate Volunteers and he travelled to Little Rock, Arkansas to start upon his duties.
