General Abraham Ten Broeck's orders signed by Lansing as Major Brigade. States that since the enemy is in the northern and western frontier, it is necessary for part of the brigade to take action. Informs that the General has ordered one eighth of the regiments commanded by Colonel W. Crea and Colonel Stephen Schenfer to march to Fort Edward.
