Autograph letter signed
Title: to Henry Knox
Apologizes for not writing sooner, but declares she was ashamed to tell him that no progress had been made on their Waldo patent land dealings. However, is pleased to report that she "obliged the Creditors of my Father to consent to your receiving your demand without a chancery suit." Discusses business interests relating to the Waldo patent and debt repayment, including financial affairs with Thomas Longman in London, England. Also discusses family news, congratulating the Knox family on the birth of a new son.
