He comments on the success of his Northern California Crusade despite the radicals at Berkeley University, the Hell's Angels, bomb threats and demonstrations. He states that 75 % of his audience is under 25 and believes that there is a "Jesus Revolution" occurring in the country.

He asks Bishop Hunt for financial and personnel aid, and to join the world-wide convening committee. He makes reference to spending time in Florida with his wife, Ruth, the Berlin Congress on Evangelism in 1966, and others held throughout the world.

Graham writes that he received an article from the Charlotte News in which Bishop Hunt discussed evangelism in Junaluska. He discusses another article about a speech in which the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church chided the World Council for not focusing enough on the redemptive aspects of the Gospel. Graham thinks this can be used as ammunition for their concerns about the reports that are coming from Bangkok. He's concerned more Methodists are not involved in the upcoming Lausanne Conference.
