Title: [Description of a note from General Ulysses S. Grant]

General Eaton describes a note given to him by General Ulysses S. Grant (see GLC05485.02.01). States that Grant's note was written at Mt. McGregor, Wilton, New York. Asserts that General Grant handed him the note after they witnessed a sermon by D. L. Newman, possibly titled "The pure in heart shall see God." Written in pencil.
