Title: Declaration removing Livingston's salary as Collector of Excise

By decision of the Council of the Province of New York under Governor Bellomont, having experimented by allowing Johannes Groenendyrk to collect the excise on 13 November 1699, discovered that Groenendyrk collected more than Robert Livingston. Therefore, the council "board are of opinion that for his Majesties Service the said Robert Livingston do not receive any Sallary as Collector of the Excise of the City and County of Albany," the salary previously being £50 annually.
