Describes the warm welcome the soldiers received upon landing in England. Tells Alice that the American girls have nothing to worry about as the European girls can not compare. Mentions that his birthday is on the 30th and wishes he were home to get presents and kisses for each year. Includes his mailing address. Writes that he is having a hard time receiving mail and doesn't know if it is because he hasn't caught up to the mail or if the mail is stalled…
