One black and white photograph taken by Richard Childress dated May 16, 1966. Center of image is of Sheriff Frank J. Pelz reading a court order to people demonstrating in front of the Horizon House apartments. The demonstration was organized by the Congressional Organization of Racial Equality (CORE) and took place in Baltimore, Maryland. The court order stated that they were in violation of a recent injunction. This injunction limited when groups of people were allowed to protest.
