Bruyn informs Governor Clinton of Colonel Willett's (written in letter as Willet) recent victory over the enemy. Says that Willet's men killed and wounded ninety, while taking only five dead themselves, even though they were outnumbered. Offers to accompany Clinton on his upcoming trip "visit the army down towards New York."
