Heard that they were to be delivered by Knox's order. Wants to know how many were delivered to each regiment and who received them so they can be properly accounted for. Copy of a receipt for clothing issued to General Knox from 1780-1783. Original was submitted by David Brooks, the assistant clothier general. This copy was created by Major Samuel Shaw, an aide-de-camp to General Knox, who also signed this document. A total of $140.60 worth of clothing is accounted for, which includes boots, blankets, roughly 50 yards of cloth, and his own miscellaneous receipts.
