A print of a photograph showing the artillery supplies near Washington, DC. Armaments wagons identified as belonging to the First, Second and Third Batteries of the Excelsior Brigade [2nd brigade, 2nd corps]. The Excelsior Brigade originated entirelly from the state of New York. Excelsior is the motto of the state. One soldier leans against tree in the middle of the photograph and two other soldiers and a dog pose near one the cannons on the left hand side of the photograph.
