Bradburn is unsure how many recruits he will be able to obtain. There is a camp of cavalry instruction at Ashville, and Bradburn suggests that Wortham come unless he is doing well in Greenville. "I have met with some incouragement but whether I can succeed in getting many recruits or not I can't say positively to day as there is but few persons in Town I will go out to the country this Evening and try the young men of my acquaintance & see what can be done as soon as possible."
