Lists his location as "Niagara," in Western New York, as he refers to Indians from Geneseo, also in Western New York. Discusses his receipt of reports regarding General [Arthur] St. Clair's defeat at the hands of Indians. Comments on his experiences against various Indian tribes in the North and Northwest.
