A document describing a meeting in New Gloucester, Massachusetts of one sergeant and fourteen privates from Captain Foxcraft's company. Appears to be a copy written by a clerk. On the back of the document there are three mathmatical equations that appear to be unrelated to the text of the document. The top right corner of the document is torn and there appears to be slight text loss.

Apprenticeship aggreement between Isaac Eveleth and Jacob Bailey. Eveleth, age 14, is be in the custody of Bailey for seven years. At the conclusion of the apprenticeship, Bailey will supply Eveleth with fifty dollars and two suits, one for Sundays and one suitable for work.

A letter from Jacob Bailey to his wife Hannah Bailey. In his letter, Bailey details the Battle of Lake Champlain in Vermont and the capture of Captain Merrick and thirty-three soldiers from his company. He also writes about British soldiers defecting and gains made by the American forces. The Battle of Lake Champlain is also known as the Battle of Plattsburgh.

Bailey feels guilty for being away from his family when they are experiencing such trying financial circumstances, but also states that if he were to return home he would feel guilty for abandoning his fellow soldiers. The bottom of the page appears to have been cut, resulting in content loss.
