Claese, Johannes, fl. 1686
Manuscript document signed
Title: Bond to the city of Albany
The document states that Johannes Claese and Cornelius Jacobse are bound to the people and city of Albany for the sum of 50 pounds. It then goes on to explain that both Claese and Jacobse have a pass from the Governor to trade with the 5 Nations, and if they decide not to trade with the Indians for peltry, then the current financial obligation will be declared void.
