He tells Sylvia to tell Ben not to act foolishly if she wants to pay for movie tickets once in a while. Moe tells Sylvia not to go overboard and pay for everyone all the time.

Moe wanted to see a movie but found out the camp movie was one they'd already seen, so he settled down to write instead. He writes that he really appreciates Sylvia's cooking now as well as Mad's. He agrees with her that "seconds" (in waiting) are hard but thinks "firsts" are worse.
