He also notes that in some cases the German prisoners are treated better than their own army. For instance they get six packs of cigarettes a week and the Germans get seven.

Moe saw some soccer games, and some German prisoners being led through the streets. He met one of the girls who'd been a pupil of Madame Simone Vivienne. They went to the teacher's house and listened to them sing songs. Later they went to services and he thought of all the Rosh Hashanah he and Sylvia celebrated.
