Temperance broadside printed by N. Coverly. The broadside (possibly playing-off recent news relating to Indians?) quotes an excerpt from a letter of Capt. Hendricks of the Stockbridge Nation to Col. Pickering, 1794 in which he says that the enemy of the Indian "is named RUM! and he is your son, and begat by the white people; and we believe you have the power to control him...." The lower half of the broadside has a general Christian sermon against rum entitled "The Address to Drunkards," which concludes with the admonition, "Reader, art thou guilty of the sin of drunkenness?"

Manuscript map shows the lines of entrenchments and reinforcements, the Danville Road, cultivated land, camp roads, a cotton press, the O & M Railroad and C & M Railroad, and General William J. Hardee's headquarters. Map was blind stamped while folded with a mark saying "Peter O'Donnell, 16 Camp Street New Orleans" with a design of a ship; he was the stationer who made the paper. Docketed on verso.

John Byrne "hires" Kitty to James B. Bailey for $200 for a term of seventy years. To uphold his part of the contract, Bailey has "to furnish the said negro girl Kitty with good holesome provisions & comfortable clothing & also to treat her with Humanity." Signed by Byrne and Bailey on first page. Contract dated 3 November 1829. On verso, signed by [H. White], an Austin official, and by George Robinson and Thomas H. Borden, as witnesses, on 4 November.

This document is a mezzotint depicting King George III. Three names are associated with the making of this print. The first, which is noted in the lower left corner of the engraving, is T. Frye. The note next to his name reads "ad vivum delineavit", which in Latin translates to "vividly depicted [by]". Frye is the artist who originally drew the portrait of King George III. The second name is noted in the lower right corner and reads "W. Panther fecit", which translates to "made [by]". This refers to the engraved plate of the print, which was made by Panther but copied off of T. Frye's…
