Notes that the Superior Court of Massachusetts granted the authors, as surviving executors of Brigadier General Samuel Waldo's estate, the power to sell lands of Waldo's to pay his debts. The present deed documents the sale of a land lot to Richard Clarke in exchange for a particular sum of money. Signed on behalf of Francis Waldo, Isaac Winslow, and Thomas Flucker, as well as by Samuel Quincy and Increase Sumner Jr. as witnesses. Below the signatures is a note declaring that Enoch Freeman copied the above on or about 29 April 1786; Enoch Freeman also signs the note.…

Is very unhappy about the status of Colonel [Thomas] Goldthwait's application to settle the town of Frankfort, in the Waldo patent, and discusses how it contradicts his wishes. Accepts his offer of a land grant.

Title: to Samuel Brown, Jonathan Crocket, and Robert Jameson

Signed by Knox and Isaac Winslow Jr., though both signatures, as well as the letter's content, are in Knox's hand. Addressed to Brown, Crocket and Jameson as members of a Committee for Thomaston. Document suggests regulations and procedures for settlers on land belonging to Winslow and Knox, acting as representatives for the heirs and executors of Brigadier General Samuel Waldo.

Unsigned, but handwriting suggests the author is Henry Knox. Reports that two British citizens, Lord Loughborough [possibly Alexander Wedderburn, subsequently 1st Earl of Rosslyn] and John Skinner, have an interest in a portion of the Muscongus patent. Explains how these two individuals got involved with the land, which belonged to Francis Waldo through his father, Brigadier General Samuel Waldo.

A land agreement involving Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow (the heirs and representatives of the late Brigadier General Samuel Waldo), and the inhabitants of Penobscot Bay and Canaan, Maine. The heirs agree to supply the inhabitants who agree to their payment terms with warrantee deeds. Writes a letter to the inhabitants of Canaan, Maine assuring them that the agreement they made with [likely Henry Knox, Isaac Winslow, and Samuel Winslow] will be a great advantage to them and their children. Notes they have no objections to the people petitioning the General Court becuase they [likely Waldo and/or Winslow] are acting within the law.
