Title: Treaty Between the United States of America and the Tabeguache Band of Utah Indians
Concerns the cession of all Tabeguache land except for a designated reservation area, the right of Americans to build military posts and railroads on their land, the rights of Americans to mine there, and the remuneration the Tabeguache will receive. Authorized by President Abraham Lincoln. Treaty arranged by John Evans, Michael Steck, Simeon Whiteley, Lafayette Head, Commissioners on the part of the United States, and the Tabeguache leaders on 7 October 1863 (and proclaimed on 14 December 1864).
