The Governor of Canada writes that he has heard rumors of a plan among the 5 Nations and/or Skachtkook Indians to attack Christian settlements in New England, and asks if Peter Schuyler has heard any similar news. He also states his desire to uphold the covenant made between the English and the 5 Nations, and hopes that this sentiment may be communicated to them.
