Title: Testimony regarding the Livingston's rights to Taghkanic and the Manor
In the trial of Robert and Johannis Van Deusen v. Josiah Loomis, William Williams declares: "That at several times dureing the life time of the late Phillip Livingston Esqr. Deceased he has heard Josiah Loomis Declare that he held the Lands which he then possessed at Tahkanick by leave from the said Phillip Livingston." He also states that he heard Loomis acknowledge Robert Livingston, Jr. as his landlord, who later ordered Loomis off of the land called Taghkanic.
