Title: "Invoyce of 13 Bales 3 Trunks & 3 Cases Containing merchandise . . .
. . . shipped by James Douglas mercht in London On Board the Dove JohnWilde Master bound for New York." Both James Douglas and Robert Livingston were responsible for shipping the goods, however, Douglas appears to have drawn up the document. Invoice accounts for bales, trunks, and cases of various fabrics and textiles such as cotton and beaver skins.
