Title: to Robert Livingston re: the trial of Captain Kidd
Riggs writes discussing the trial of Captain William Kidd. According to Riggs, Kidd was being held at Bristol, and would be held until the next session of Parliament, the soonest time possible for Kidd to be tried or pardoned. Also, Riggs writes of the war between Sweden and Denmark, stating that it was believed that Holland would join Sweden, and that the city of Riga was being besieged by the King of Holland and his army. Finally, Riggs sends his regards to Livingston's family. Docketed on address leaf.
