He wrote to people eminent in their professional fields for advice he could share with his students at the Senior High School of Trenton, New Jersey. He then published these letters in this book after gaining permission from their authors. Of the 324 letters, some notable names are; Franklin D. Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, W.E.B.
