An aerogramme consists of a blank sheet of paper with folding instructions and adhesive flaps that becomes its own envelope, and carries prepaid postage at the international airmail letter rate.

Also recommends him for a post in the infantry or cavalry, as Tyler had served under him previously and he knows Tyler's abilities.

Believes that she is "determined to hold on to the last and attack the General Court when they come together..." and "this will hold you in a damn'd state of suspence." Encloses a copy of a letter he received from Duer, stating that he will wait for further instructions from Knox before he does anything about Duer's letter. Says that Captain [John] Hills, a surveyor working for Knox, will travel to Philadelphia the following day. Discusses Knox's canal project, noting that Hills could not finish his survey due to the bad weather. Adds that the survey will soon be finished, and some final calculations need to be made.
