Lists men receiving prize money from the privateer vessel, the Pilgrim. Not dated, circa date is inferred from other receipts. Lovett was a privateer ship merchant and captain in Beverly, Massachusetts. He served as the agent for the Pilgrim's prizes.

Expresses his happiness in hearing Madison would chair the Virginia delegation to the Constitutional Convention.
