Title: to Robert Livingston, Jr. re: trade in Philadelphia
Robert Cambridge writes that due to a drought, the buck wheat crop is not as good as was expected. He also states that trade in Philadelphia is profitable, but goes on to note that is is "frequently subject to great checks from the extravagant hazards of Individuals who for the sake of immoderate prospects unnecessarily expose the welfare & happiness of their families-."
