Grants Samuel his "right, share and interests in all that tract of land situate lying and being in the Eastern parts of New England containing by estimation ten leagues from a certain place commonly called and known by the name of Muscongus." Countersigned by David Orrok and Thomas Hubbard, witnesses. Samuel [Chockley] signs a note on page three dated 20 June 1728, in Boston, Massachusetts. Samuel Sewall, Jr., justice of the peace, signs a note at the bottom of page two written 8 December 1729 in Boston, Massachusetts. Henderson attests that he became a settler on the Eastern part of Massachusetts Bay in 1728. Took up a lot of land on St. George's, a colony of which Colonel [Samuel] Waldo was the proprietor, in 1735. Moved to Lincoln (present-day Maine) in 1736 then Leverett (present-day Massachusetts).
