One presidential advertisement for Taft's reelection printed in the "Saturday Evening Post" dated October 26, 1912. The one-paged print out is an endorsement of William Howard Taft by the Republican National Committee. Text refers to candidate Woodrow Wilson as a "danger and William Howard Taft as "safety." It recalls the Payne-Aldrich Tariff Act signed by Taft. It was given unwarranted critcism and proved to be beneficial for the economy in the long run.

Describes what soldiers should do to survive in the artic, jungle, desert, and ocean. Inscribed "to Brigadier General W.E. Hall from G.T. McHugh H. Col. AC." A note from Sheila Stone's daughter states "In Nov. 2016 Ali discovered this book in a crawl space in an attic of a new home she was renovating. We thought it interesting so have included it. It may be moldy after 74 years so BEWARE! Dedicated on inside front cover."
