Later copy. Encloses estimates of expenses for building and equipping frigates (not included). First estimate was from 1790 and is the most perfect, although the wage rates were too low. The second estimate is accurate, but does not comprehend all the equipment issues. The third estimate was tolerably accurate of those items it comprehended, but he has not had enough time to fully understand it. Noted as copied on 5 December 1857.

Discusses land deals and how anxious she is to hear Knox's advice and information on which path she should take regarding her children's property. Mentions her sons being in the military academy and how they might go to England. Sends her best wishes to Knox's family. Sarah Lyons Flucker was Knox's sister-in-law.

Knox warns Francis "if you shall adhere to drinking such liquid fire, you will ruin your health, and debase your mind." Knox advises Francis to be an honorable person.

He has lawsuits pending against him and say "honour" compels him to stay in Boston. "Prison" might be his home as a result. Flucker seems to imply he might be able to escape with the assistance of Knox. Signature has been cut out of the document.

Copy of a letter Henry sent to his nephew Thomas Flucker instructing Flucker that he will meet Captain Talbot. Talbot will give Flucker money and clothing. Knox demands that Flucker return to Thomaston "immediately" if Flucker does not get on the Constitution. Flucker is not "to stay in Boston one day."

Noted written from St. Kitts which is a nickname for St. Christopher.
