Signed by Ellsworth as a member of the Connecticut Pay-Table Committee. To Connecticut Treasurer Jonathan Lawrence. Receipt says to pay Captain Elderkin over 83 pounds for the various expenses to treat the illnesses in his company in Colonel Mott's regiment. Note on verso says the money was received on 15 April 1777 and is signed by Nathaniel Webb. Docket says the payment was audited on 1 September 1777 by J. Treadwell. Related to GLC01450.240.

From the "Pay Table Office" Signed by Finn Wadsworth and Eliazer Wales as the committee, and across their names Jedediah Huntington has signed. To John Lawrence as treasurer. Verso signed by Williams stating he recieved the contents. William Williams was a signer of the Decleration of Independance and a Representative from Connecticut. Muster roll for of Captain Lemuel Clap's company in the Massachusetts Guard. Lists name, rank, and enlistment date of men in the regiment. Almost all the men enlisted 11 August, though some later. A third of the men in the company are named Clap. Andrew Brown signs as Commishioner of Musters. Captain Lemuel Clap and Lieutenant Aaron Bird swear to the document by signing. Signed before John Avery, who signs as justice of the peace. Also a list by rank of the number of men present and absent. Written in Dorchester, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.

Hodgson, a major general and colonel of the 5th foot regiment, directs Charles Bembridge, the Deputy Paymaster General to the Forces on an Expedition, to make payments to several regiments, in the amounts listed. Hodgson had served as correspondent to British Secretary of War William W. Barrington before forming the 52nd of Foot and the Royal West Kent Regiments. Hodgson had participated in the April campaign to capture Belle Isle, off the coast of France. He was made a field marshal in 1796.

Also signed by Judge Abiel Walley. Patten, a Boston constable, attests to the discovery of silver stolen from Thomas Richardson, the treasurer of Rhode Island. Suggests prosecution of William Smith and indicates that the silver was returned to Richardson.

Lists costs associated with regiment led by General William Gansell and General Thomas Gage, accumulated during a 94 day period between December 25, 1764 and March 28, 1765. Lists all members of the regiment, including a chaplain and servants, and notes allowances to widows and "to the Colonel for Cloathing lost by Deserters." Mentions an "Independent Company on Foot" led by Lieutenant Colonal Matthew Pierson, and two more companies commanded by Captain Francis McMillan and Captain Archibald Blane.

The three companies were led by Fry, John Hazzelton, and Josiah Cowers, all in the regiment of foot under Colonel Samuel Willard, and "part of the Forces now raising for reinforcing the Expedition against Crown Point." These forces joined Major General William Johnson's 1755 unsuccessful attempt to take Crown Point.

A note signed by Livingston below the order states that the payment should be made to Dirck Jansen. A note signed my Jansen on the verso indicates the payment was received on 8 August 1759.
