Broadside
Title: An account of some of the bloody deeds of Gen. Jackson [with coffins, response]
Dramatic broadside. A sarcastic rejoinder to the broadside "An Account of the Bloody Deeds of Gen. Jackson." Features coffin surrounded by dozens of smaller black coffins. With a pro-Jackson text that ironically describes the "slaughter" of the Gen. Packenham and the British Soldiers who invaded New Orleans in 1815. Sir E. Packenham led the British troops. An ironic rejoinder to GLC 5566.
