A document containing instructions for polling officals in Greenwood and Itta Bena, Mississippi on how to handle unregistered African American applicants at polling stations. Reciting Section 3114, Miss. Code 1942, calls on polling officials to prevent the disruption of other voters and to "be careful to follow the law," to prevent the success of any law suits that may be brought against them by the Attorney General of the United States. Dug-outs and shelters used during trench warfare in Flirey, France. These dug-outs were better constructed than most were during the war. Flirey villlage was destroyed during the war. It was in No Man's land for four years before American occupation, even though the French had a hold on it for a portion of the war.
