Graham was in New York "to attend the business of the supreme court." Taking the opportunity to forward the news of new Colonial Governor Hamilton's arrival in New York, Graham also writes of the troubles in New England: "Accordingly they are very apprehensive of an Indian warr in N England and have raised men which they have sent to the east ward for their security it is Conceived that our Indians are in Concert with them but that is a point must be tenderly managed."
