One pamphlet entitled, "Interstate Compact To Conserve Oil And Gas," dated June 28, 1943. This pamphlet contains the agreement between Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Kentucky to conserve oil and gas. The agreement was originally reached and approved by congress in 1935, it was renewed in 2 year increments. The agreement is concerned with regulating drilling for natural gas and oil to ensure that resources are not being wasted in any way. The agreement was renewed for four more years expiring on September 1, 1947.

One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to his parents Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff, dated October 1, 1943. Leonard thanks his parents for the two care packages that arrived. He appreciates the candy as he eats so much of it now. He also really liked the bracelet they sent, he says he likes it the most out of all the ones the other guys are wearing. He asks his dad to write and tells his him to get anti-freeze for the car. He is in the middle of a service week when the company doesn't have drills but instead has maintenance duty around the base.

One letter from E.M. Stouffer to Leonard Eugene Graeff, dated October 8, 1943. Stouffer writes to Leonard that she is sorry it took so long to write. She updates him on "Eggie," who is home, and she is baking a chocolate cake for him. Stouffer mentions recieving a letter from Wayne. He is in England and can't tell her where, but it took a month to get the letter. She also mentions Charlie who is in the army and thinks he will be assigned to the quartermaster corp. States that it will be Columbus Day soon and some people are planning to donate blood.
