Opinion has been written by Chief Justice Hughes. Case pertains to a complaint made by Arthur Mitchell regarding discrimination and segregation of black passengers traveling on the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway Company. The ruling decided was that it was unconstitutinal to not provide equal amenities to all regardless of race.
