Samuel Winslow describes negotiations between Isaac Winslow; someone with the initials T.F. (perhaps Thomas Flucker, Lucy's father); Francis Waldo, an uncle of Lucy Knox; and a Mr. Wetmore. Also mentions the price of the lands and the taxes involved.

This was recently decided at Ipswich Court. Apparently asks Knox whether he thinks it proper to approach a Mr. W. (perhaps his cousin Isaac Winslow) about a settlement on his property. John Fairfield offers an affidavit regarding Witchcassett, "four miles from Sheepscott and thirty four miles from St. George River, in the County of York" (present-day Maine). Attests that he moved to Witchcassett in 1738, commenting that at the time, forty families and householders lived in the settlement. Remarks on additional settlers in later years and sawmills located in the area.
