Broadside signed "A Democratic Workingman." Expresses anger at politicians calling for peace and "the Union as it was." Criticizes Southern peace terms from the "Richmond Enquirer" : including recognition of the Confederacy, withdraw of Union forces from Maryland and a free vote to decide where it wants to go, the federal government giving the Confederate government their portion of the navy that existed at the time of secession, and the withdrawal of federal forces from all Confederate territory including Kentucky and Missouri.
