Title: Instruction to the Commissioners of Indian Affairs
The Earl of Bellomont instructs the Commissioners to uphold the peace in Albany, and to relieve the Indians in the event of a French attack. Bellomont also notes that Robert Livingston is to pay for the Indians' provisions out of his own excise, and that no further charges are to be made to the King's account.
