His friend should send it to the New York Evening Post. At the bottom of page 3 Rosse has written: "received Sept. 14th." On the recto and verso of that page is a letter from Rosse to a Mr. Robinson, in which he encourages him to write the article.

Document gives Elisha Gibbs, a yeoman, control of slightly over 99 acres of land in Lincoln County, Massachusetts (present day Maine) for $115.87. Describes the boundaries of land in detail.
