Title: Disposal of Sixty three hogshead of clothing received for the Corps of Artillery in 1778
Signed for Knox by Samuel Shaw, Knox aide-de-camp. Large chart describing amounts of clothing (hats, coats, vests, woolen breeches, linen breeches, leather breeches, shirts, socks, overalls, stockings, shoes, and blankets) distributed to various units in the artillery. Note on page two says the shipment was sent by public agents from Boston, Massachusetts to Fishkill, New York. From there part of it was sent to White Plains, New York under the control of Captain Lillie, the brigade quartermaster.
