William Bradford appoints Henry Knox to be his "true and lawful" attorney (Power of Attorney). Appears that the legal agreement is particularly pertaining to land in Penobscot [County?], Maine. There is a note from Joseph Rawson at the bottom of the letter certifying the agreement.

Suggests that he appoint one surveyor, and the proprietors appoint another, and they perform a new survey, which Knox will pay for.

A deed of sale for Brigadiers Island (present day Sears Island) in the Bay of Penobscot in present-day Maine. The deed is from William Griffin, Nathan Griffin, William Staples, Alexander Young, Jotham Staples, and Thomas Pendleton to Henry Knox. The island is between 700 and 800 acres of land and is being sold to Henry Knox for ten shillings to each party. The deed is signed by each party, excluding Knox.
