Is forwarding Knox papers "respecting the payment to Mr. S[ylvanus] Bourne." Relates that Samuel Ogden is in town negotiating over "our Western Lands." Robert and John Livingston have also been there. Discusses the social scene of Boston and his plans to celebrate the birthday of George Washington on February 11 in Concert Hall with 100 gentlemen.
